The main types of customs control as ways to regulate and develop relations in the Customs Union

Abstract:

The article provides an analysis of the legal norms and concepts defined in the Customs Code of the Customs Union. It considers the main notions applied in the customs legislation. The basis for the implementation of legal norms is the participation of states in the common economic space. The development of external economic relations allows them to pursue a common policy on stabilization and further development of their own economy. The intrastate market is being improved in this way. Investing, reduction or abolition of tariffs on the import and export of goods, prices stabilization and so on are under way causing increase of goods turnover and services volume. Customs procedures are aimed at improving the efficiency of such interaction. One of the regulators is customs control. Its various forms and methods clearly demonstrate the need to reform the legal background of this issue. Some forms require the use of technology. Application of modern technologies makes customs inspection, customs search, documents check more effective. Unfortunately, legal support of use of technical means has not been finalized, and on some indicators is absent.
