Professional slang as the basis of linguistic uniqueness of professional sociodialect

Abstract:

The article considers the concept of slang and professional sociodialect of a certain professional group of people. It analyzes the types of technical literature and identifies the grammatical laws that govern this type of written speech. A particular attention is paid to the ways of the professional terms formation; the examples of translation of technical terms from English into Russian are provided.
