Violation of norm of expectation in the speech of Russian children’s fairy tales characters

Abstract:

The article considers the violation of norm of expectation in speech. The study material is the passages from Russian children’s fairy tales. It examines the changes of characters’ emotional sphere when perceiving the violation of norm of expectation. The expression of the violation of norm of expectation is analyzed on lexical, syntactic and phonetic language levels.
