Specificity of psychological support seeking in modern Russia

Abstract:

The article discusses the issue of a specific attitude to psychological counseling in Russia. It sheds light on the basic motives for applying to psychological help and presents the social and gender characteristics of clients. Positive and negative aspects of the controversial perception of psychological help are noted.
