Abstract:
The article is devoted to the state of the problem of training practical psychologists. Attention is drawn to the fact that one of the reasons for the current difficulties is the lack of a general professional concept, which presents all aspects of training practitioners ready to provide this kind of assistance to the population of Russia: from theoretical foundations to methods of evaluating results. The author’s model of the structure of the concept and its main content is proposed. The article presents arguments and facts that allow us to say that most of the difficulties experienced by those who are directly involved in the training of practical psychologists are associated with the lack of a holistic understanding of the methodological basis for training specialists, the lack of development of the regulatory and organizational aspects of this process, and the inconsistency in understanding the methodology of training practical psychologists and the quality criteria of both the process of training practical psychologists and its result.
